The riots in France continue . . . 11 days already.
Welcome to our world! I witnessed the riots in the summer of '68. We all watched the riots in LA in '92. And there have been lots of others over the years. I feel sorry for the French . . they need to put an end to this quickly. People can't be let to believe, that they can riot and destroy the property of others, without retribution or punishment. Its an unfortunate historical fact, that the people who live in these impoverished and blighted areas, are like a stick of dynamite waiting for someone to light the fuse. Once they start rioting, they act without conscience or morality . . and seem hell-bent on destruction of property . . . tearing down their own meager surroundings, and further condemning the future of the areas they live in. Not to mention the irreparable damage they do to themselves, and what other people think of them, which will continue to haunt them for decades. The sooner the French government steps in and puts an end to this, the better.
