So I'm using Windows INternet Explorer 8 right now because its supposed to be awesome ... awesomely bad.
My blog passes WC3 validation, but for some reason IE needs to view my site in "compatability mode". Whatever. Who's standards are they supporting over at Microsoft?

Microsoft's new web browser is supposed to support "web standards".
w3.org is the "home" of web standards. If w3 says a web page meets these standards, then it follows that a "standards compliant" web browser should be able to display the web page.
