Note to self: Absinthe on an empty stomach, or in general is NOT a good idea. Horrible stuff, makes ya quite ill. Wish someone would have told me to drink milk to coat my stomach first, I felt like absolute shit most of Saturday.

On the bright side, we did go and have an absolutely wonderful time on Friday in spite of the pain it caused. Saturday, we went over to Mill, and milled around a few places. Had a few beers in the cue club, then wandered on down to Rula Bula. A great band called Traveler was there, kicking out some quality gypsy music accompanied by a belly dancer. Somehow Iain got us the "kilt discount" at the door, and we paid no cover. We then had to head over to the airport to pick up another accomplice that flew into town for New Years. On the way out we met some lovely girls named Katherine and Alicia(not sure about that one), and gave em a lift to Trax since it was damn cold and a bit of a walk. Picked up the co-conspirator from the airport after much confusion about what curb we were to get em at, and went out for more trouble. Good times were had by all.

Tonight should be a complete blast as well, going to go ring in the new year at club hell and a nice Irish pub in downtown. Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe New Year!
