--- Useless rant about school, feel free to skip ---
School is freaking crazy. ASU professors don't tend to be helpful. The class average in all my classes on all the midterms was between 50-60%. CLASS AVERAGE. In one of those classes, something crazy like 80% of em are on their second time through. That = sad for ASU.
I'm kinda discouraged in my classes, insane amounts of work and severely unreasonable grading are going to make me drop half my class load probably. I have a class that is 8:40am out at ASU... and I drive from Chandler, the class I know I need to drop isn't till 10:30. The problem is that 8:40am class gets out at 10am then I don't have another class till 2pm. I'm not gonna sit around Tempe that long, and i'm not doing that great in the morning class, anyway. SO... for the first time ever, i'm going to drop a class at ASU. I hate flushing the money down the toilet, but not much else I can do.
For our program, if you get a D or lower in any class, you get put on Academic probation now(new policy gee wiz its super). This means for 2 semesters no more than 6 credit hours per semester. Not to mention having to go get the Dean's signature to be able to retake the class. Now, normaly i'd wait closer to the end to make sure I'm not going to pass/do badly before I consider dropping. ANOTHER great new policy. Catastropic Withdrawl. If you withdraw from any class after 10 weeks(wow what a coinsidence, the end of spring break is the end of 10 weeks, so really we get 9 weeks to choose.) you must withdraw from ALL classes at ASU to withdraw from any. So basically I don't have a lot of options and I'd like to sleep in in the mornings, anyway.
Grats on already having halved the class size in 3 of my classes, and failing 70% of the current student base, ASU.
...Anyway...
Other thank school, life is going pretty good. Been spending as much free time as I can hanging out with friends and vegitating my mind to the TV. Umm my brain is still sore from doing algorythms and circuit design for the last 14 hours so excute the lack of sparkling conversation skill.
Song of my current mood:
