Another day, another dollar in the desert. Feeling like a fat kid, cause i ate way too much at the chow hall. I always do that too. Eat alot, then feel like shit afterwards. Dunno why i do it. Not sure if yall care either. Masalamma.

It is good to know that you guys are helping people, I never had any doubt that you were. Just know that when people voice their distaste for the war or Bush's policies, it has nothing to do with you as a soldier...because you wouldn't be a solder or a corporal if you didn't follow orders. It would be so fantastic is if after you get home, if you still feel the burning passion for helping people, that you find a way to help our own people to become educated. That is why I'm getting a Master's degree so that I can teach. YOur point about the civil war was very good.

So it was my first Christmas in Iraq. Yeahhh. It rained and it sucked, but we made the most of it. Problem is in Iraq, when the ground gets wet, it doesnt soak. It turns to shit mud, that sticks to everything. Try to walk in Flip flops in that yuck.
