I just watched Happiness, and maybe I'm just really twisted, but I fucking loved that movie! I think it has replaced Mulholland Drive in my book as the all-time most surreal movie (well, I'm sue that's not the gospel truth, but I think you catch my drift). Philip Seymour Hoffman was brilliantly sad. I so wanted to believe he could fuck someone hard enough that the cum would shoot out of their ears (as he was so fond of saying). I was really rooting for the little guy. And the whole thing with the kid and the dad was the kind of stuff you watch through your fingers, and yet, I think Dylan Baker and Rufus Read deserved at least five Oscars each for their performances. If you can pull those rolls off with such conviction, you can deservedly rest on your laurels after that point! Try saying this with a straight face, and not only that, but with tears and emotions and the whole shebang:
Billy: Daddy, would you fuck me?
Dr. Maplewood: No, son. No, I wouldn't.
Billy: sob
Dr. Maplewood: I would jerk off on you.

But on a non-pedophilia-flavored note, I finally worked out the kinks in my little YouTube flick. It's no longer glitching out, and I added one of my favorite songs to it. It reminds me of Lebanon...even if it was shot in Brooklyn. And the precious Vinnie the Super Spoiled Cat footage has been gloriously restored! He was trying to snack out on my nose (as he so often loves to do when he's feeling ooey gooey) but the camera man was being a real hardass and didn't think scenes of kitty lovin' were "artsy" enough.![whatever](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/rollseyes.21cb35fd0ec2.gif)
I also felt like including this awesome photo of Mary Pickford. Sassypants in full effect!

And this is sheerly for feel-good purposes. On my first trip to Ireland, I got a bunch of postcards at the Irish Museum of Modern Art by a photographer named Satoru Tsuda. He took pictures of kitties dressed up in cuddly wuddly outfits, and had them posed in very intricate sets. The kitties were definitely not sweatshop labor kitties. They were quite pampered as a matter of fact. Here's one of my favorites:

I hope you're enjoying your weekend thus far.

I enjoy the work of Tod Solondz, but, for some reason, I don't remember much of Happiness though I do seem to recall seeing it.
How are you these days, Ho-ster?
