here are some things i've done recently....
strawberry of guadalupe
this is on salome, who was a joy to work with.
this was this guy's first tattoo. still not finished. he made a noise like a pigeon when it hurt too much. hilarious at first, then incredibly annoying.
this is a work in progress onskarecrow. the burning witch was inspired byvanessa.
eyballs on the elbow.
and finally, in the spirit of the liger i did last year, ohjaeflow got this little gem. it's a manbearpig, i'm super-serial. this will only be funny to you if you watch southpark.
random rant:
you know what i hate? those douche-bags on 10-speed bicycles who refuse to take their feet of their pedals when they're at a red light. it enrages me to no end. instead of stopping and putting a foot down like a normal person, they have to wobble, shake, and do those tight little circles that push them into oncoming traffic. it looks like some kind of retard ballet. fuck that! if i'm walking on the crosswalk and someone's doing that, i look at them, laugh hard, and while shaking my head say, "gay".
oh! i almost forgot. looks like my shop-mate/partner in crime, Kim Saigh is going to LA this summer to film a new tattoo reality show. it's gonna be called "LA Ink" (i think), and will be a spinoff of Miami Ink, and will feature Kat von D, Kim Saigh, and a few other artists. should air in august on discovery channel. i'm very excited for her.
what does this mean for me you may ask? not much. it reinforces my status as the "rodney dangerfield" of custom tattooing, and ensures all be bored and alone at work all summer. it'll probably be good exposure for the shop, though.
