It has been a strange week
Looking foward to the SSS
I got an email from an old "friend" earlier this week after not talking to her in over a year. This is a girl who I REALLY liked but she did not want anything more than a good time. I was really happy to get this email. In the email she gave me her new number and requested I call her, so I called her. I was expecting a friendly conversation, just catching up on stuff, but noooo. What I got was a talk about how we should have dated back then, she fucked up, and wants another chance. WTF, she was a little late on that one. I now live over 4 hours away from her. Even though I still like her a lot I think I am just going to need to let this one go because I don't believe that a long distance realtionship can work. I tried it twice in college with girls from my home town and that was only 1.5 hours away, and both failed. I now believe that long distance relationships are very counter productive to the formation of a healthy relationship. If the purpose of dating is to determine if you could spend your life with the person how can this possibly be accomplished if you are never/almost never together because you live far apart? I just don't know what I should do.
Any thoughts on, or experiences with long distance relationships would be very helpful.

Seriously. I wanted to drive into them. And my car sucks so bad already that it really wouldn't have mattered.
