Dood....like, my set went live. Definately a suprise So, erm, what to say....?
It was fun doing this set. Here are a few tidbits of information about the shoot:
This set was shot on Christmas day near a popular fishing spillway. The trail starts near the stream and winds through acres of land.
It was a lovely, breezy 85 degrees that day (no white Christmas here)!
There were several...interruptions during the shooting of the set. A lot of people were out hiking, camping, and sightseeing that day.
One group came to investigate, since they thought the photographic equipment Element_103 had was some sort of deer feeder. I'm not sure how a tripod and other stands could look like a deer feeder, but ooh well.....
Yes, those are my real nails in the set. Perhaps the predators didn't mess with me because I had claws I've changed tires, done home improvements, AND gone hiking with my lil Wolverine claws.
I learned what a geocache was. It turns out there are more caches in the area, so I'll have to go look for them!
During the photoshoot, I stepped in a carnivore's offering to the nature gods. In other words, shit (poopoo, doodie, dump ). Seriously, I did. It was very fresh. Perhaps Element_103 will post some of the outtakes?
The strange thing about today was that I had the song O Green World (Gorillaz) stuck in my head today. Coincidence? Here's a sample of the lyrics (which may or may not be accurate, but it's close enough!) :
O green world,
Don't desert me now
Bring me back to fallen town
Where someone is still alive
Fighting for something new in this
When no one needs the heart of me and I'll
Get out somewhere other than me before...
(than me before...)
O green world
Don't deserve me now
I'm made of you and you of me
But where are we?
I'll have to upload some more of the outtakes soon.
So many thank yous I need to send out.....
