So we had an amazing time in New Orleans!! Friday night some friends and I went to Bourbon Street, got back to our hotel early in the morning smile I got up early Saturday, showered and sat out on our balcony to soak up some morning sun before our adventures started.
Again went down to Bourbon Street and grabbed a bite to eat.. I picked the place but the food was so so...
After that we did some shopping. and on a side street we saw lots of people gathering on one street and a police car was down there.. the first time I saw it I just looked and forgot about it. After spending 45 mins in a store and coming out the crowd had gotten bigger and a firetruck was headed to that street. So when I had a closer look I realized that a guy was sitting on top of the roof with his legs crossed all calm. So I didn't wanna stick around to see the outcome so we just went on. Not sure what happened after that. I hope the guy ended up ok.
Then after some more shopping we went to the aquarium smile then we went to a small little pub (more of a place that I would hang out at). I had this strawberry ale. so yummy.. they make it in covington, louisiana. Around 6 we went on a ghost tour.. I loooooove things like this so I was very excited!! The tour was great and after we were done we got dinner and decided to head back to Baton Rouge.
On the trip home I started looking up more info on everything we heard on the ghost tour. Then I got curious about our hotel. We stayed at the Lafitte Guest House... www.lafitteguesthouse.com
We were in room 21... so like most of the buildings New Orleans our hotel was thought to be haunted by a little girl between the ages of 8-10, that apparently died in our room of yellow fever.. Crazy!! If you get a chance look it up online.. nothing spooky really happened but I thought the mirror in the hallway was strangely placed. so if you look it up you'll read a little about the myth of mirrors in New Orleans smile
I'm gonna post pictures as soon as I can...but sometimes I have trouble posting on here for some reason

I think my favorite part was the ghost tour.
