Back from shooting a roadmovie that took me across Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Home for two weeks now then I'm off to Kiel to shoot the next feature. Oh, and my IMDB "Starmeter" rose 937%....

Very impressed with the 937% number. Considering Penelope Cruz was up like 24%, I hope your big number gets translated to star-level money. I would like to go on that roadmovie trip--summertime in the north can be really nice with some bug controls. Hope you had fun, aside from the daily crap of unpacking-setting up-packing-driving every single day in new locations.

yep, I understand why you might not have been able to understand them especially if they were all talking together; us Celts have a tendancy to talk pretty fast and use words that cannot be found in the English dictionary, personally I speak Wenglish which is a mixture of Welsh and English and I'm very proud of the fact; you would probably have great trouble understanding me also, which many do...I had a friend who lived in Berlin for a while, think she longs to get back there, but as usual money and other halves tend to stunt dreams.

The last few days I keep looking around saying "where the hell is CT when I need him", since everyone around me is speaking German. A small job on a ship, and the gensets are from Kiel, along with most of the other equipment and technicians. Photos later when I can sneak in a camera.

I spent the last two days to service my DPs new Beaulieu R16 camera. The dogleg shutter is a nice feature and the first one i ever saw in real life. Apart from that i wouldn't recommend the purchase of this machine. As we found out a Bolex or an Arri ST are the better choice for a cheap, second hand 16mm camera.

You were absolutely right about the SR 3 scam. Closed at 22.201USD, and today ebay took down the auction details and closed the seller's account, which means that either seller got caught or that somebody had hijacked the person's account. Seller never answered me about the S.N. on the cam. It's a dangerous world out there.

Yeah, I downloaded a torrent of the film.. quality was very poor.. and no English subtitles.. hahaha. But everything gets reissued eventually it seems.
Once again some trouble while taking photos at night. This time it got a little rougher and I had to defend myself using my tripod.
