I meant to post this on Sunday -
It's 3pm and I've only gotten out of bed to grab a snack and pee. I love Sundays. Smokin' a bowl, munchin' on a little Chinese food, and looking up makeup schools in the area. Requested some information on the few that are here. I'm still planning to order the courses through Dick Smith, but I don't think they teach theater/fahion/glam makeup techniques, which I will also need under my belt.
Yesterday was very, very long. 7 hours at the college campus taking GED tests - Reading, Science, Writing and Math. I thought for sure I had bombed my math test, but I'll be damned, I PASSED! All that's left is Social Studies. I cannot properly express how proud I am of myself for passing math. I've always struggled with it in a big way. However, the other tests were fairly easy.
Tomorrow I will know if I can still get my piercing license since I'm enrolled at a school for the GED and only have one test left to finish. I'm hoping for the best. I really want to avoid going through the new piercing application protocol at the start of the new year.
Last night was a lot of fun. My fiance's boss took out the employees for dinner and drinks at Mint. Pricey, but damn, GREAT drinks and delicious food... well, except for the lamb burger, but I think that was my fault for ordering it medium rare, left it too greasy. The White Eagle was pretty awesome, too. Nice big fire pit in the back, place to smoke, great beer but also, kinda pricey. I think we'll stick to our dive bars.
I really cannot wait to dye my hair again... Greens n blues, straight ahead! Maybe I should start a hair love fund! $100 to get it the way I want, I think I'm gonna have to. But! My girlfriend that use to do my hair back in Louisville has a best friend that does it, too, in Portland! Can you say friend discount? WOO!
Wow, I cannot believe it's only 3:30. Its getting dark already and the skies are still gray and foggy. I badly need to go up to Mt. Hood and ski... haven't done that since - oh... the 8th grade?
Alright, I think I'm starting to ramble. I think it's time for another bowl and some serious relaxing. After 7 hours of testing yesterday, I deserve it.
I hope all you lovies are having a nice, laid back Sunday!
PS My fiance brought me home Sock It To Me Tacky Christmas Sweater socks! I'm so in love!
xoxoxo
