Consumerism is so distracting!
Sometimes, when things are bad, I go op-shopping...and I buy things because 'things' speak for the buyer...therefore, if I change my physical environment (my things), I change myself. Nice theory, hey?
It doesn't work. It's a cop-out. It might change the sign posts but not the landscape. It's so hard to change how you think...
But I did find all of these beautiful saucers with very 1950s rose patterns on them..I just don't know what I would do with them.

They didn't have op-shops when most early psychology was being sorted, so it's no surprise the whole field's in need of an update.
