I was watching "So You Think You Can Dance" sometime this week with my son and this really caught my eye. I wish it wasn't so grainy (maybe just my computer?) because it was so captivating and tender. I couldn't take my eyes away (especially from the male dancer Hok, who dances the part of the Hummingbird). I don't usually like contemporary dance, although I do alot of it when I'm taking the piss out of bad music on the radio at work
. The whole thing was refreshingly out of the ordinary.
The more I watch it the more impressed I am with Jaimie. Her movements are so perfect for a flower, waching her is like watching one of those time-lapse films of a plant growing and moving.
The worst sound in the morning is my alarm clock ringing. The best thing in the morning is the first taste of my cup of tea.

I absolutely adore that show. LOVE IT. I love the actual structure of the competition and the choreography, particularly the contemporary choreography, though this can stretch throughout the rest of the genres, is brilliant. I missed the last episode and will miss this Thursday because of band practice, but I am getting the whole eps from the net. Can't wait to watch them. The dancing fills me with life!!!
