-Today a co-worker told me an allegedly "funny" anecdote about how his diabetic partner finds it hilarious to jab people with his blood-sugar tester gadget (ie when their friends ask "does that hurt?")
I am still so shocked about this...I can't believe that anyone could do something so amazingly fucking stupid. I don't know what to do about this...having been given this knowledge I feel that I am responsible somehow. I don't know if I should just talk to him or what. I am disgusted. This coupled with another co-worker pulling her dress up when on desk (she has some undefined mental illness) has just tipped the Bedlam Scale at work over from "quaint and sort of amusing" to "get me the fuck out of here".
I've fucking had it. I'm flabbergasted that someone could be so ignorant...that is serious cross-contamination and more than likely a criminal offence.
