I've been spending most of the last week listening to the Donnas and playing games on MSN. The little revision that I did do did pay off though. Had my first exam today. Don't think I did too well since I missed the last 12 marks as I never have enough time during that paper but the rest of it went ok so hopefully I'll get a reasonable mark for it.
I didn't really want to talk about exams but what else could I say?
When It's all over, I'm planning to go to Brighton for the day. Well, a few hours really since I want to go after the morning rush but it takes at least 1 and a half hours to get there on the train then I have to be backat farnborough by about half four so I'll probably only be there from about half 11 to quarter to 2 which makes only two and a quarter hours but I know exactly what I want there so as long as there are no delays, everything should run like clockwork though this whole outing is nothing but a dream at the moment since I need to finish my exams first. Then I've got to do this stupid clearing thing. You have to go back and hand all your books back and pay any money you owe. The have three special days when all the necessary people are guarenteed to be in but they are totally useless to me as none of the dates are after all my exams so I'll just have to hope people are in when I'm ready to give my books back. Most of the books are useless so I could do with handing them all back now but that would look like I wasn't revising.
You try to get out of these places and they just make you keep coming back!
That happened when I did my GCSEs. You leaves so you only go back for your exams. Then they want you to come back for prizegiving.. Then they want you to come back to have a GCSE certificate giving thing. I went to prizegiving cos I got a book token out of it (well, it's better than nothing) but the certificates, I just said leave them at reception and I'll come and pick them up. When I get my a level results, I've got strawberries and champagne to look forward to.

How about getting a tattoo while you're at it?
I have a couple of tattoos, one on each arm, but have a desire to get the one on my left arm extended into a sleeve of some sort. There is a pic of it in my Pics folder and I am thinking of having more of a tribal theme down to the wrist. Trouble is, I know it will hurt and I am a bit of a jessie when it comes to pain.
If you do get a tattoo I think you should go with what you feel comfortable with and what is meaningful to you. If someone else has the same or if no one else likes it....well, who cares? You are doing it for you and not them.
There are a few SG girls with the nautical tattoo on the front of each shoulder and I think they look lovely.
