We've been trying for a while now to find a house to rent next year and on Saturday, we did it! We found one a while back but we were beaten to it by one morning though this house is much nicer. We did everything in rather a hurry this time so as not to let it slip away. We've put down a deposit and we'll see it on Wednesday and sign the contract on Thursday. I'm glad we resorted to using the estate agents because before we were just finding student lettings on the internet but I feel a lot safer doing it through a proper company. It may have cost us a bit more and it wasn't quite as close as some of the houses we've looked at (15-20 mins walk from uni as opposed to 10) but it is well worth it.
