God-damn i love sundays. Even moreso now that i don't have work on them! I thoroughly enjoy waking up semi-late, reading the newspaper while eating waffles and veggie sausage. I love still being in p.j.'s until noon and taking my time. Oh so much fun.
Today will probably be spent on a blanket at the lovely laurelhurst park. I learned the other day that the same dude that designed the pretty park in NYC (I don't have to know the name because I have never been there) also designed Laurelhurst. It definatly shows that someone knew what they were doing.
Last night I had dinner with N and J while having a wildly entertaining conversation about how there are so many other crazy options for fuel (ie: human fat and corn) but we'd rather use the stuff thats about to run out. Hah! Our president is so dumb.
After dinner we went down the street for some ice cream and there I ran into a friend from the past. The unique detail about ths friend is that we were somewhat close friends in Detroit, and we conincidentally moved here at about the same time. Although, at this point, our friendship has dwindled to almost nothing. We met once after moving here and I wasn't feeling the connection we had back home anymore. So i never had and still don't have any obligations to stay in touch simply becuase we knew eachother from our hometown. I think she notices that we don't have anything in common anymore, but does fell somewhat obligated. I think its all silly and can't help but laugh about it.
Has anyone else seen previews for a new movie called Broke Back Mountain??? Ohhhman, i can't WAIT!
