so miss. amazing here cut her hand open at work yesterday morning. Two not good facts to know: 1) I have never really injured myself, broken anything, or seen that much blood in my life and 2) I was by myself when it happened. So I freaked out. I was using a sharp tool to take some stitching out of a heavy duty horse blanket and it slipped and wham, right into the knuckle of my pointer finger, luckily on my left hand. At first I thought it was just a surface cut, but then all the blood came pouring out. I covered my hand and began to run the the bathroom but remembered that I was by myself and needed to call my boss who was out running errands. So i ran back to my bag to grab my phone and there was a spot in the room where it was obvious I was standing there trying to find his number because of all the damned blood on the floor. A trip to the ER and several hours later and I have four stitches holding my wound together. First time for everything right?
The day didn't end up being to bad. My love was more than willing to take care of me and he did such a good job it. We went to the local head shop to get us a pipe (we've been meaning to get a nice bubbler for a while) and then we went grocery shopping. So all in all, it wasn't such a bad day, despite the blood and freaking out.
