While I was waiting for him to pick me up for our night of camping in Washington, I thought that I should check my email. And from the looks of my account it had seemed that my sent went live!!! I can't believe how well it turned out. I simply can't wait to do it again. It made a nice weekend a fucking great weekend. Thank you thank you thank you London for being such a unique and wonderful photographer.
Some of you guys had some consistent questions that I'd like to answer for you.
First, my leaf tats. I have a couple of friends back at home that I hold dear to my heart. Once we realized that we are all going our seperate ways to start lives in other places, we wanted to get a group tat done as a momento to never forget one another. The reason for the leaves is that the guys had a metal band together, and I was the girl at every show, in the front row, screaming in their faces. The name of the band was Fall. It was something all of us could agree on but also felt it had personal meaning too.
Seond, things about Portland....yes, getting a job here sucks. But if your not so picky, its easier. And never stop looking until your satisfied. Thats what I did and eight months later, I've found a job I am very happy with.
I really can't get over how pretty it is here. I don't know what the hell I was doing in Detroit for so long. There are so many trees and like-minded people. The most ridiculous thing to get used to was the friendliness of random strangers. In Detroit, you just looked at the ground and walked. Didn't look anyone in the eye, dare say anything to anyone. Here, people say hello and smile. It's wonderful to feel safe and welcomed where you live and work. The sense of community here is overwhelming and powerful.
anndddddd...back to updating. I watched House of Flying Daggers friday night. Talk about sappy love story. But man, it was so pleasing to the eye the entire time. So colorful and moving. Last night ___ and I camped somewhere out in nowhereland. It was beautiful. We were budded up next to a rapid and could here the water moving all night. The land next to us had a couple of pretty horses. I got all geeked to get close to it. They were so gorgeous. Today, since its such a nice day out, I may attempt to put some elbow grease into the motorcycle. She needs some attention and I feel bad that I haven't given it to her sooner, i'm sure I'll be forgiven though. I hope all of you enjoyed your weekend...I know I did.

Drago here.
I got your email, which was great.
Would you think about checking
me as a friend, because I think
I am,
but the practical reason is then
they send your new journals to
my site, and mine to yours,
and it's easy to stay in touch.
thanks, and I know what you
mean about Portland. You must
come visit San Francisco soon, too.
A whole new world wants to
dance with you now! That's good.
But cut them to one dance
until they show you even more.
Include me in that too, only fair
