well, i'm home and finally have a moment to update.
i will say that traveling by plane is so miserable. both flights there AND back were the worst i'd ever expierenced. EVERYONE, NEVER FLY WITH AMERICAN, THEY WILL FUCK YOU EVERY WAY THEY CAN.
now that i got that off my shoulders, being back home is great. i found a new place to live the day i got back in. which is a huge relief because i hate looking for someplace to live while under pressure, you know? your expectations become lower the more desperate you get. i'm really relieved now that i've found a room in a house with people i already know. the location is fucking super. the house is bigger and in better condition. less people and oh yea, more than one goddam bathroom. the rent is about the same so it won't put as a big of a dent in my wallet as i was expecting, so now i can save money! which i haven't been able to do since i moved here. hopefully i can start working towards that month long vacation with N that we've been talking about.
so being back home was wondeful, awkward, and wierd all at once. wonderful because i was able to see all of my friends and family that i missed dearly. awkward because my mom didn't even really seem that thrilled to see me. and just plain wierd to be there for a whole week, it really make me realize even more that portland is where i should be. its so ugly and gloomy in detroit. yes, some people may say that its ugly and gloomy in portland, but alteast we have the mountains. there its flat, and if you see something peeking over the horizon, its usually a gross office complex
today, i'm going into work, not to work, but to use the sewing machines for my own personal use. i need to make a new wallet since i lost mine while i was back home. shorten up a belt i found for 4 bucks, and make some pockets for a new hoodie.
have a good weekend everybody and i hope your thanksgivings were good and filling!
i hope that everyone had a great thanksgiving!

I feel the same way living in Albuquerque; it's a city, it's full of cars and people and trash, but the sun sets on the mountains in the nicest way, and the air is mysteriously fresh and...
I have the luxury of time over the holidays; I know not everyone does, and planes are FAST, but I'm the kind of person that just begs for security checks in the airport, what with humming to myself in line, unbrushed hair and all.
And I love watching the landscape change, get greener and greener. I get a kick out of watching the token schizophrenic freak out the other passengers, watching the potheads invariably group up and go "out back" at every stop, and getting a little strung out myself in the journey.
It feels like my soul has time to catch up to my body
I just want to say to you, you are a beautifull girl. Yours sets are great and you are gorgeous in the both.
