It's new ink day!

smile
but . . .
I've never understood getting tattooed in Summertime.
To me, this is water sport season, and the idea of staying out of the pool, or river, for days - - much less weeks - - is anathema.

Yeah hhhhhhhhhhhhh... So.... What will this look like?

*sigh* I love the feeling of sore muscles from the gym - something tells me it's going to be a good sleep night smile

Aye, Wisconsin would have been my "best man" if he wasn't so completely unreliable and prone to running off in the woods . . .
much like the real, human, best-man ultimately chosen surreal

So excited...in less than 18 days one door will be opening as another gets slammed SHUT! I'm so tired and fed up with my job right now and the harder part is that I can leave at any time but am going to play it out until just before the end. Trip to Boston at the end of the month seems like a perfect time...

good luck on the job thing,
and (more importantly)
enjoy your vacation!

Sadly, I've no experience (yet) in Boston . . .
kint:
I was in Beantown years ago - loved that city! You have to check out a ball game even if you're not a fan of the sport. The ballpark is legendary. Hope all goes well on the job front too!

Ugh reality sucks! We have been back home now for 2 weeks and I still can't get out of vacation mode. It doesn't help that lax season is in full swing so I'm done work at 2 pretty much every day for the next few weeks....ok my reality is actually pretty sweet:-) Next stop...Boston in May! Any ideas on things to do?

Happy Sunday:-)

what's a vacation?

Spring is here but it doesn't even feel like we had winter. *sigh*

Question....how long should you wait from getting a substantial piece of ink before you risk baking in the sun? My next piece is my spine so just ondering what is the norm?
stcyr:
you're not kidding on the lack of winter frown
As to the ?, I'm sure there's better advice in the Tattoo group, but my rule of thumb is to always make sure it's completely healed beforehand. That way you can slather your ink in maximum protection sun-block (of course).
That, and the fact that I love to be in the water, is why I only get tattooed in the winter months.
