Wow that must have been a good night.
So I lost my phone a few months ago. And I'm one of those geeks who NEEDS to feel my phone in my hand because it provides me some stupid kind of comfort. To my defense though I "say" I need it because I'm a web developer and do a lot of freelance work so need to be in constant contact. Whatever...I just like it.
Anyways it was a very stressful event! I knew it wasn't very far away because Paul and I were at the local pub about 10 mins from here and I had it there, but didn't have it when we woke up. So of course we checked in the normal spots, over and over and over and over again...to no avail. We had had a fun night so between the two of us, we tried to piece together as much as possible to try and track it down. No joy. So I went out the next day and bought another one, ordered a new orange case, set it up the same as the old one and have been living happily ever after with my new beau.
Skip ahead to tonight...I was just making a PB&J samich (I never call them sandwiches...too boring) and we have a stainless steel bread box and I see a shot of orange reflected inside the box. Now I'm only 5'2" so I rarely see things very high up...but this caught my eye. Then it freaked me out because just before I went to make my samich, I was on my laptop and my phone in its orange case was charging beside me. So my first thought is WTF - I'm alone in the house except for the critters so how did my phone get into the bread box!?!@*()
That's when I realized...it must have been a good night that night a few months ago when I lost my phone. Because it ended up in the breadbox and I'm glad I bought a new phone, because really - the breadbox would be the LAST place I'd look for a freakin' phone!
I really need a tiara for being a "special kind of stupid".

I already used the pumpkin you gave me. I made pumpkin soup and baked the seeds
Let me know when you'd be free to hang out again.
