I'm amazed by people. Everyone single person has a story, full of tragedy and triumph, everyone has the worst day ever, everyone has so many things happening or having happened; it's really quite absurd to acknowledge that we all fit together somehow. There are no clear cut villains in these stories, well, rarely, and more often than not individuals are too ready to blame someone else for their problems.
Listening to my friend today, who's been calling me more and more frequently as more and more things go wrong in her life, I'm left thinking about this. How does one say - "Yes. Yes it is you. You're the problem." Better yet, how does one help another to come to and grasp that understanding? I don't know, sometimes people want the truth and sometimes people don't. I don't want to be an asshole, but I can't imagine not coming across as one... I guess I'm just supporting her and helping her through metaphors as best as I can. Sometimes people are asses for their own reasons, but you don't have to accept that if you don't want to.
Everyone has the worst day ever.
