Once again I feel an overwhelming need to update, although there's not a lot different going on compared to the last.
Bukowski is doing very well, he seems 85% potty trained, he whines to go outside and has only had 4 accidents indoors. Personally, I think that's impressive for an 8 week old pup. Right now we're working on socializing him, which means a lot of field trips to meet other dogs and new people, walking near traffic and around the neighborhood. Just to get him used to any situation that he may encounter in the future when he's older and less flexible. The puppy book that I have says this is the age where dogs decide what is "normal" and what's "bad".
Also, he's taken up humping my leg.
I'm trying to put a stop to that , although that's about the onlly action I've seen of late.
Work's getting much better. The newbies have caught on and Friday I left at 3:30pm!!! Finally.
And the owner of my store noticed all of the extra hours I've been putting in without pay (my salary pays me for a projection of 50 hours a week, I've been working about 65 plus a couple extra hours on weekends, for the past month). The owner gave me as a sort of thank you, a $100.00 check plus about thirty dollars worth of chicken breast. That's a lot of chicken.
Then last night I picked up a shift at my second job to make some more fun money. aka tattoo moneys.
Today, I work another shift.
I still smell like smoke, beer and ribs from last night's shift. Should I even bother showering?
Working my second job is nice, because I get to hang out with people I've known for years but rarely see because I'm on a morning schedule and they work nights. I miss my friends. I miss going out after every shift and getting hammered at the bar next door. I miss the drama of what server is sleeping with which cook. I miss the extreme innappropriateness of everything everyone says or does at that job.
I should quit my real job and go back to serving tables. More fun, more money. Less respect, though.
Things to look forward to....
- new tattoo soon?
- dead schembechlers at the Newport on Friday Nov. 17th. No, I'm not really a football fan, but everyone around me is. I saw this show last year and it was a riot.
-Best girlfriend Jessica visiting from northern Ohio with her new man that entire weekend.
She almost never comes to visit.
- Isn't that meow 's birthday weekend?
-probably more leg humping
Ok, I don't really have any other set plans in the near future! hmmm, guess I'll have to make stuff up to do, huh.
