Signs That You're Getting Old
Friday Night - Rented Prairie Home Companion and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, picked up a Papa John's pizza (mushrooms and italian sausage).
Once home, fell asleep 10 minutes into the first movie (Prairie Home) .
Saturday Night - Was supposed to go out, but Nate was called into work instead when somebody called off due intense sickness. Funny part is, Nate was sick too. Poor guy.
Instead of going out without him (and therefore making him a sad panda) , I promised that I'd be ready to go out when he got off at 12am.
All whored up and painted, at 1am I received the "I'm afraid I won't be home for awhile..." call. Boo.
So I shimmied out of my restrictive going-out outfit and into flannels and a sweatshirt, cozying into my fresh-out-of-the-dryer down comforter with the puppy and Project Runway.
Today - Blue Danube for lunch, mmmm, Quesadillas.
At 4, I have to go in to work fto do some sidework like putting hinge-locks on cabinets and drawing huge chalkboard menus. Woooo!
I feel. So Domesticated.
Oh, and I need to ask you all a favor.....A free paper here in town is doing a "who is the hottest bartender" contest, and Eden at the Blue Danube is in it.
Even if you don't think she's the hottest, vote for her anyway, I say, 'cause she's the chick most likely to be an SG out of the batch. The woman's got some sweet-ass tattoos. Plus she was dancing around the restaurant all excited about it this morning. It was way too cute.
