Thanks to my wonderful brother-in-law, not only do I have a brand-spankin'-new canine (thanks to his redneck "sensibility" not to neuter his outdoor dogs) but a fixed computer (thanks to his computer degree).
I'm not sure if any of you know how happy I am to be back on the internet.
So aren't puppies supposed to be annoying and "bad"? Mine so far is soooo good. He always goes pee and poo when I put him outside and rarely goes in the house. He's very attentive to us and seems to come when called. Or maybe he's just following me around, most likely.
He wants to be around us ALL OF THE TIME.
The only time he's yippy and howley is when we crate him for the night and or leave for work. But the Kong filled with treats seems to help a bit...
By day 2, the "no dogs on the couch" rule was officially broken and discarded.
Last night Nate and I attended the SG Burlesque Show at Little Brothers.
Going in, I wasn't sure exactly what I was going to see, but the show was well choreagraphed, cute, sexy, fun and funny. Plus the soundtrack was terrific! Well worth the 15 $$ cover.
We left early as both of us had to work at an obscene hour this morning, but not before I met
meow , niche (in something other than a work setting), saw a lot of others that I recognized from this site- How odd is it to know someone (online) yet not really know them? I find it an awkward feeling.
Damn, I'm sleepy. This whole getting up at 5am and playing with (aka tiring out) the new puppy before work is hard to get used to.
His name, if you wanna know, is Bukowski (Nate picked the name, as per our puppy-getting agreement).
Buki was wrinkly and ugly a few weeks ago, so now we just have to work on the alcoholism womanizing and poetry part.

I love the commentary on naming the puppy Bukowski. Puppies attract the ladies so I have no doubt he'll be a womanizer in no time
