Wow, I can't believe Ephemera Festival is this Friday! I'm excited and a little nervous, too. I'm sure it won't be perfect, but things will run more smoothly next year after I've gone through the motions.
I can't help feeling pretty proud of myself, though. This is something I've been wanting to do for a while, and I made it happen. I did an insane amount of work in a short time, but I was able to get 30+ D.I.Y. people to participate, and it's going to be in The Reader and Time Out Chicago. That's definitely more than I expected.
I'm still trying to think of a good place for an afterparty. Somewhere near DePaul (but not too near if you know what I mean) or at least easy to get to. Hmmm...
So, if you're so inclined, you should stop by on Friday. The info, once again, is here.
PS: I'm going to see The Organ with Starguitar on Thursday night.
