Hey guys. Everything is okay now. Great, even. Thanks for your kind words. blush biggrin

I was inspired by Fernando37's latest entry to quit smoking pot for 28 days. I know I can do it. I have a lot of willpower once I make up my mind to do something. It's going to be hard at times, but 28 days is a reasonable amount of time, I think. Hopefully after that I will smoke less often. I don't think anything (at least substances) should be done in excess. It's more fun that way.

I'm going to be in Dowagaic, Michigan for the weekend. My parents have a lake house there and they are having a birthday party for my Dad. Starguitar is coming with me and so is my sister and her boyfriend, so it should be a good time. There isn't much to do there, but that's why my parent's like it, I guess. I've always been a city girl, but a few days in a tiny lakeside town isn't going to kill me. I do have to write my final paper this weekend, so I wil have to find time to do that.

PS: I just asked FOUND magazine to do a performance at my zine event. I really hope they can!!

taking a month off the grass is a spectacular idea. i have done it a number of times for various reasons and when you go back to smoking pot, its a whole new thing. i mean that in a really good way. its like hitting the reset button. you can reform what kinda pot smoker you are when you do decide to smoke again. seriously. spend this month noticing when you feel a need to get high and seeing what kind of, lets call them "triggers" bring you there, and you will be able to see the good ones and the bad ones. and when you start again you will know when smoking will be bad for you or good. and can totally avoid the bad times. sorry to ramble on about this but i think that being a healthy adult that gets high means that you should really be aware of when and why you smoke. good luck. smile
