Remind me to always, always write entries in word, because of stupid errors on this site.
Filthy, Dirty, Smutty Storytime is definitely my new favorite group. You guys are so dirty I love it.
Starguitar left yesterday. I was sad, but not nearly as much as I usually am when he leaves. I love knowing that the next time hes in Chicago it will be for good. I will be in Montral the last week of June to help him pack (and I hope his going away party is that weekend so I can party with the SGMTL crowd)! After that, we are driving back to Chicago so he can get settled into his new place. Oh, the excitement of it all.
Life can be pretty crazy sometimes. Im still working on my article about the pen pal days of my youth versus sites like this one and MySpace. One thing Id planned to do was to look up some of my old pen pals on MySpace and ask them if they still wrote letters. I havent gotten around to that yet, but last night one of them found me!
Meg and I started writing when I was 14 or 15. She was a few years older than I was, and I really looked up to her. We got to know each other through years of letters. She taught me about writing, relationships, and just being strong and confident. The year I graduated high school, I flew out to San Francisco to meet her, and the next year she came out to Chicago. Meg and I lost touch several years ago, but I thought of her from time to time. Its kind of strange that shed contact me just when Im writing this article. Thats one good thing about the internet you can find people who may otherwise be gone forever. And I was happy to read in Megs profile that she still writes letters.
It's finally starting to get nice outside. Time to bust out the halter tops - for real this time.
Edit: 11:18pm - I really really wish I was in Montreal tonight.
