Two people I know have died recently. Well, one was several years ago, but I just found out about it recently. They were both folks I just failed to keep in touch with, and I regret that.

I just spent the weekend in Portland for a memorial service for one of them. That was great because it brought together a bunch of people who don't keep in touch, a bunch of old friends. We told stories, listened to our music (a couple of us were in a band with the guy who passed away), and drank a lot of beer. I think he would have been proud.

Reach out to an old friend today, before the friend is gone.
