Yesterday while driving to work mother nature decided to put on a bit of a show. Coming over from the North Shore was an almost angelic experience. The city was quite blanketed in a thick layer of fog. The park had a hint of mystery to it. Once on Georgia, this unreal gleam of the rising sun was shooting down upon the commuters. Luckily I had my new Canon. I pulled over, walked out into traffic, only getting three or four honks from my loving fellow road partners. I then proceeded to turn up Cardero onto Alberni where the effect was more deprived of commercial signs and things to generally take away from the image. So, there I go pulling over again, and out into traffic. Which on Alberni was nothing. After snapping that one, my camera batteries died. What amazing fucking luck. I don't remember when a little moment of perfection like that went in my favour. Well, not too recently anyway.
I have a few more things to add to my post from the 26th...but I'll save it for now as I have to spend some quality time with my dishes.

Wow, I'm so sorry to hear about your dog. How horrible for both of you. Thank you for coming over and posting your support and empathy.
