i love the smell of my own sweat. is that so wrong? not the heavy workout sweat, but the slow sweat you get from being outside on a warm day.
today i was reminded why i've kept a night joe job for so long. the freedom to throw on my ipod, grab my idea journal, ride my bike to the lake, kick back and read and think in the middle of the day. and get a nice layer of sun stank.
i watched the last samauri last night and was surprised at how much i liked it. i think cruise gets alot of crap for no reason. he's a good actor. and the movie wasn't full of that cartoonish good vs. evil silliness that last year's best picture winner revolved around.
to me, the final battle scene was a great illustration of how, to quote nofx, "the industrial revolution has flipped the bitch on evolution"
all right, suppose i better wash that stank off now...
p.s. "like today" by atomosphere is a fucking great song for a day like today. and most summer days.
