It is weird-- it seems traffic has really slowed down around here over the past two months. Just when winter should be keeping people inside in front of their screens.

Oh, god! I was in the ER recently too. They got me in fast enough, but left Angel waiting in the waiting room for hours, and wouldn't tell him anything. They had me in just my little napkin, or whatever the hell that thing is, on an exam table hooked to an IV in a room that was like a meat locker for 4 hours before he got to come back, then they put me on a stretcher, still hooked to the IV, took me out to the hall, and left me there. Later they re-filed me to the loby, with my IV and napkin for another 4 hours.
Least to say, I don't drink anymore. Or eat strange cheeses.....

i hope things are okay and that you feel better. i am that guy in the emergency room with something SO WRONG that they rush me in no matter what. last time my mouth was gushing blood and my finger looked like a corkscrew and i think i made a nrse vomit. whatever, gimmie some morphine.

ever think about writing some lyrics when shit is going wrong like it does? thats where the digital recorder comes in handy, right?

Bruce Campbell day 8/26/05. LOL. Yeah Bruce was in Kansas City that day and I had been looking forward to it for months. I got to meet him, got my book, signed, and took some photos. It was good times. I hope that you are your family are doing ok with all this Katrina business. Stay safe.

Me too! Actually, it's a Jack Off Jill song I do acoustic now - I may do a segue into my own song "Souls Like Chalkdust," which has the lyrics "Tonight I waltz with the Devil, While today you walk with the Lord."

NOt a lot of meaningful lyrics; just rock and roll based on the title, which I copped from a line in a Robert Charles Wilson book (Darwinia). I highly recommend him - He's a sci fi/head trip writer in Toronto who's a little more into fringe culture (though I hate the term) than most. His wife's a friend of mine.

Any chance your album will be available? Mine I'll just give copies to people with the guts, stupidity, or ennui needed to listen to me.
