WOOHOO!
I got out THREE TIMES in the last week. Twice with my guy no less. WOW. I am impressed.
Twice to see movies - one romantic comedy thing that my guy said we were "supposed to see", and ended up being all about marriage...damn you, universe. I know we were supposed to see it too, because it had a container of baked ziti in it. Sounds pretty banal, but it is my favorite dish, and one that my guy gets me as a special thing. The other movie was Phantom of the Opera, which in my musical theater heyday, I used to perfom. So I had a keen interest in seeing it. The movie was really pretty...the people were NOT opera singers, which was slightly disappointing...I didn't like the guy who played the phantom, he was too "GQ" brooding boy and too young by a long shot...all in all, glad I saw it. The end of that movie had an engagement ring as the last shot. Damn you again, universe. I said I wasn't going to think about this anymore.
Also, the updates have been done to thefetisch site. Woohoo! Lookin good. See the photos page for my bio, and the freek page for a nifty banner, and the mboard for me, miss_lady, and McG (sorry forgot your new user name).
My thought for the day: Damn you, universe (yet again).
My listening pleasure: Prophei, Skinny Puppy, Duran Duran, my own stuff (testing a CD)
Question of the Day: What one famous person do you dislike that the people around you love?
**for me, this is easy. Marilyn Manson. I swear, if he was all that was left of music in this world, I would poke icepicks in my ears. My guy on the other hand, digs him in a way that borders on weird.**
Wearing: my "goth exercise pants" as a friend called them, my sandman shirt, and socks.
What I am avoiding to bring you this update: Writing an instrumental piece that I owe a friend.

Just as a side not to what I was saying above about the movies and stuff: I do not want to be legally married. This is certainly not about that. What I want is a ring, a nice ceremony, a bunch of gifts, a nice trip and a lifelong commitment. Fuck that piece of paper that says if he gets pissed and takes off, he owns half my shit. I am not concerned with that crap. No offense to those who are married on the site - there are benefits, like health insurance and taxes... Love to you all!!!

I have loved Manson since the first time him on an episode of Jerry Springer back in 1990 1991. Back before Jerry really moved to smut he had Oprah Shows ok. The topic was teenage club kids and they were talking about ravers and goth kids. Manson blew me away with how hot he was first. No contacts, no heavy make up. Just tall, pale white skin, thin body, the long blackest of black hair, and black eyeliner. How God intended every beautiful gothic man to look. Before all the craziness. He starting speaking and I was blown away. He was so smooth, articulated, and intelligent. I love that. Then time went by and he did slowly become extreme for the shock value and the ticket and record sales. Marketing. There are some things that just bother me and I have always wondered what was it really like. What if he is a total jackass. Some screwed up junkie. I always believed that persona was always not real. Just an Act. I think he slipped a little too far down into the persona. Anyway it has always been the music that kept me there. I saw MM live for the first time in 1994 on the Downward Spiral Tour. They blew me away. I had no idea who they where at the time. Later it clicked that I had seen them on Spriger a few years before.
And how much I want to do dirty things to him...
sorry this is so damn long
