"I don't want to be used."
I am recently coming across this statement by girls a lot lately. The connection between sex and being used. I must say, I find it very interesting and a little jarring. Basically, a night club or a party, a girl wishes to refrain from having sex because she is "sick of being used just for sex". Now granted, plenty of guys use emotional manipulation and play mental games to trick women into sleeping with them. The old saying is very true, "Girls use lust to get love, guys use love to get lust". But, I am not talking about that. I am speaking to "sick of being used for just". The notion of being "sick of", denotes that this girl has had sex before, and had sex that was not in a committed relationship. Now if she had been tricked, sure, being sick of that is natural, but some of the girls I have spoken too were in "FWB" situations. Hence my confusion... How was it being "used" if you signed on to a "Friend with Benefit"? Sure, be "sick of just having sex with no commitment". But... being used? How are you being used persay, if you signed on to use the guy just as he uses you? If you said, "Just friends with benefits", I guess what I am saying is, you don't get to complain about being "used". I just don't think you can have your cake and eat it too. Or rather, have your single sexual enjoyment and your womanly victimization by males too.
I dunno. Just a thought I am playing with.
