Finally done with all my exams. Now it's time to kick back and throw back a few cold ones. Well maybe later, its still only 11:30am. So as I said in my last journal I couldnt really swim because it was too cold, but I wouldnt go as far as saying that the pool conquered me. Later that day I checked to see if the pool had warmed up a bit and to my luck it had, slightly, So I decided to do a quick 20 laps and call it a day. I think that afterwords I experienced a mild case of hypothermia. It sort of feels like your dilusional and water thats a little bit hot burns your skin. But needless to say it only hurt for a little bit, the pool will not be the victor here.
On a relex of impulses I went and saw the late late showing of King Kong. Can we just give Peter Jackson the award for best director now? It was simply amazing shit. It was Jurassic Park and King Kong mixed together really. Jack Black, who I think is the fucking man, did a pretty good job, but I wish he had more funny lines in the movie, for the sake of comic relief. The one part of the movie that really freaked me out was the very climax of the movie where kong climbs to the top of the empire state building. It was then that I realized that I have a morbid fear of heights. I felt like I was gonna vomit just seeing kong up that high. Maybe the fact that it was 2am and I was sort of hungry helped with the fact that I felt like I was gonna faint, but I can assure you that you'll never find me up in a building beyond, say the 50th floor. Anyways it was good time and I highly recommend it, especially to anyone who wants to kill about 186 minutes of their life.
Till next time
