that's the sound of air leaving your lungs without making a sound.

you're were thinking of saying something, but the words died.

the thought is still there, dangling on the edge of that place where your brain meets your tongue. it's annoying, no? like a stringy peice of something, bigger than it actually ever was, hanging there.

i think.. we fear the lost connection.

i don't want pain to come to them. so i hold on. to them. for them.
if pain was to occur. what could i do, anyway?
it would be over, momentarily(or not). and i would then join them.

so many conditions.. censors.. even the "free thinkers" with the "new age" attitude about spirituality/society/sexuality/etc.
"i'm not attached. i'm not afraid."
and yet we filter everything. even behind a box.
"no fear... no distractions..."
bullshit.
ha. i laugh. ha. ha. ha.

I'm not afraid. I'm not. I would stick my entire head into an aquarium filled with pirranhas, that's how not afraid I am.

wow. i thought everyone was afraid. especially the free thinkers and the no boundryists.

and the people who go on tv and almost get themselves killed for only the measliest of prizes are the most afraid of them all.

the ramones are covered a lot, too. you're right. and with the passing of Joey, i'll bet we see a lot more.

what got me thinking about the Misfits was this video I saw on the Wedge, MuchMusic's alternative late-night show.

It was this Trancy number by Golden Boy & Miss Kittin called Rippin Kittin. And it was basically a cover of "Mommy, Can I Go Out & Kill Tonight" Well, a cover in that they use the words to the song and do it over top of completly different music.

It actually wasn't too bad.. But I don't know squat about Electronic music or any of it's subgenres. Maybe someone who knows will tell me it's shit.
