I had a random meeting with Dye, NekoKoneko and Brendan, my tattooist last night at Rics, in the Valley. I handed over some designs for Brendan to draw up my koi for Thursday week. A very exciting turn of events!
So thus became a night of me getting shouted booze (thank you, by the way, and for the pizza, my shout next time, promise ) at Rics and somehow managing to remove my top *again* at that damn bar (why, why does that happen when I hang around you Dye??) And then we all headed home, and I had the pleasure of bedding NekoKoneko for the night. The first person to stay over at my house ... such a lovely guest, you are, dear.
Last weekend was fairly insane as well ... a surprise going away party at a friend's house sprung all sorts of delicious mischief. There was an Indian pillowed harem sheeted off underneath the house that was littered with candles where-in a hookah (like the Caterpillar smokes in Alice In Wonderland) was smoked ... though I'm lacking photos, unfortunately, of which, when I get them, there are many. Will post on Friday, I hope. There was drum playing, and fire twirling, an esky FULL of free punch, a huge back veranda where these gorgeous Sunshine Coast men were busting out on the didgeridoo and wood flute, among other rediculous happenings. I love my Lismore friends, they're always there for my tribal needs
That night was a kind of a trial run for the 'Devil's Night' that they're holding next Sunday in honour of the Brisbane Zombie Walk happening the next day (Sunday). It's a early afternoon dress-up with a photoshoot in the backyard and ... I might be getting an SG set taken by a photographer lady that lives there, with the hookah thing ... I just need to think of an appropriate outfit... hmm. Unconfirmed at this stage, anyway.
This coming Friday I'll be attending Blac Friday at the CBD art gallery to support Dye's hosting and also to check out some other local artists. I'm volunteering weekly there now in the hope of getting some artistic creativity back into my life. Last week we painted around a snake on the floor (an hour before the show started,) this week we're adding scales.
Generally, life's swimming at the moment. Things are interesting, and that's how I like it. I haven't been on SG as much over the last week or so because, apart from my social life finally kicking into gear, I have uni assignments taking precedence over everything, generally, until Junish. I care though ... about you all.
Kat, chillaxing before the surprise party.
Kat, on the way home.
The very delicious Shady, who completely stole my heart that night
I worked at PSA Media for the entirety of last week. I studied on the bus in the morning, on the way home, and late into the night to make up for lost time.

Can't wait till July Sydney trip, only 45 more sleeps. ... Actually that's fucking ages. Maybe I should look forward to something closer for a while. Like you logging on.
