I have decided on an official favourite episode of House:
Season Three, Disk Three, Episode Three: "Words and Deeds"
And I'm also officially addicted to coffee again. And cigarettes. I'm trying to ween myself off the cigarettes, but it's so haarrd. With friends who smoke and a packet in my draw, it's just .... well, I could throw out to the packet, but I'd have to buy a new one. SO if there are only two left, I'm trying to 'save them for when I need them most'. Which, in turn, is limiting my intake. It's thankfully ended up becoming least it's quite a fair amount fewer than the every night fix I was getting before.
And the coffee ... well, I'm remembering just how much I need an up everyday. If I monitor it, and remain aware of the effects that it has on me, I can control it. Lack of control causes me to 'freak out' and start thinking there's something wrong with me. But there's not. I'm typing trash because I'm high. It happens when you drink cup after cup of legal drugs.
House, oh you. How I idolize you. All the while knowing that you're an absolute rite-off of a human.
Taken from www.hughlaurie.net, I've found a relevant, appropriate and true statement from Hugh Laurie to ... well, actually to hinder my progress.
When I see my heroes smoking, it makes me want to smoke.

Easy to Quit
There are a few of his habits he does not want his offspring to emulate -- like smoking. "I keep meaning to stop," he says. "Who doesn't?"
The problem? Quitting is too easy. "I found stopping to be not that hard, which made it hard," he says. Offering up a House-like rationale, Laurie adds, "Quitting is not so bad, so I can do it anytime and there is less incentive to stick with it."
It's more than likely a colleague would call House on this, saying, "I think your argument is specious." And House, with his trademark charm, would no doubt reply: "Yeah? Well, I think your tie is ugly."

Oh and you should quit smoking, it's gross and you're not supposed to be gross, you're too cute to do gross things.
