Hey, I'm in the 'No Friends' group and I thought I'd take a look at your profile and journal.

I used to work at a day care! I loved it. I miss it so bad, for realz. What age are you going to be with? I had two-three year olds. So cute, even when they're bad. When they did my checks and everything, it came up in my file about this fight I got in with a girl who was 15 when I was 16, isn't that wierd? haha Anyways, I'm sure you'll enjoy it! About the roomate thing, that sucks. Hope it gets better!

I think going to the day care would be a great place to start, if you're there w/your family so you'll have people to talk to intially & they'll probably be able to introduce you to girls there, which will make meeting the girls much easier. Sounds like a good plan

live gigs, dont wear loose trainers as it sucks to loose a shoe at a gig, trust me. dont wear pointy things coz it hurts ppl. if u take a bag put it in the locker room, make sure its got a bottle of something to drink for afterwards and a change of t-shirt. might be an idea to have a roll of T-P too, or take some disposable hankerchiefs with you.

Dont be so negative about the online thing. I know several people who have met online and it seems to have worked out for them. However, my advice for you is to stick with what you know, go to comic conventions or talk to the cute girl at the book store.

I'm a girl, I dont understand woman too much to be honest, but if you need someone to talk about them or bitch about them, Im your gal!! Look me up if you need to chat. This place is quite friendly, you just have to go and make the effort, but once you do, there's no going back!

As for tattoo artist's join the group on tattoos, they have a vast list of professionals, and even if you cant find one on there, post a message and I know you will get loads of responses!

You sound like me...I used to be able to sleep through anything and everything, once...I even slept through the noise of firemen extinguishing a fire just below my window. But nowadays, it takes me forever to fall asleep, and I wake up constantly throughout the night

And yes, sadly you do have to cast a huge net, as you put it, to find good relationships of any kind over the net. But they are out there...I know I've made some good friendships and have been playing computer games with the same group of people for close to 5 1/2 years now.
