I'm addicted to tea all of the sudden. I mean, I've always been addicted to chai tea, especially the soy chai latte from Starbucks (sue me douchebags) (I'd also like to note I'm not a vegan, I just like vanilla Silk).
But tonight I've had like an entire pot of Orange Pekoe and I'm loving it. Maybe I should just drink tea instead of eat. I'm gaining weight lately and maybe drinking tea all the time, even with a little sugar, would help me slim down a bit. I mean 2 tablespoons of sugar is better than eating 4 meals consisting of starch every day, isn't it? I think so.
One good thing about being into the eras between 1915 and 1965 is the food. They ate more balanced meals back then, they danced or rollerskated, and they didn't eat as much/if any fast food. Of course in the 50's burger joints started sprouting up, and pizza got real big. But they also made all the food fresh then. You knew you were eating 100% beef from a farm where the animals could graze and didn't roll in their own shit--which is better for your conscience, not just your health.
ANYWAY, I need to move to Sellwood or something so I can rollerskate more often. I've never been dancing, cause my boyfriend is too embarassed to take lessons with me. Maybe some day I'll convince him. I think it's more the money that turns him off than the actual dancing. He loves swing dancing, he's always telling me I should go with my friend Eric, but I'd rather go with Gabe.
It's a shame dancing is so gay now. Some people do really cool shit but most people in clubs just kinda swing their arms around. I dunno, I just wish things were like they used to be. I'd like to live in the 40's (minus the fact that WWII was going on cause I don't think I could sleep at night knowing what was going on in the rest of the world).
Anyways... Yeah. Nobody cares about my life. Tomorrow I am going over to my friends apartment and stealing a page out of one of his tattoo magazines. He'll never miss it. Besides, Gabe and I already chopped all his mags up and plastered the pages all over his walls for his inspiration. Of course, he's an asshole and took them all down.
