Here's the Coachella breakdown:
Pretty Girls Make Graves: They definitely had the guitarist from Les Savy Fav playing with them, which rocked. Show was all right. Singer needs to go. Annoying voice, stupid lyricist, looks like Kelly Osborne.
!!!: Though I have a sick fascination with dancepunk, the show was still only mediocre. Worse lyrics than PGMG, more annoying frontperson.
Atmosphere: Oh wow. So bad. Oh god.
Broken Social Scene: AWESOME. Emily Haines has such an amazing presence and beauty. Will marry someday. The played a great set, with "Anthems for a Seventeen Year-Old Girl," "Cause=Time," and "Shampoo Suicide" being the highlights.
Belle and Sebastian: Moved from the outdoor stage (2 years ago) to main stage, and corresponding drop in coolness ensued. Not that it was bad, but I've seen them do better.
Air: Wasn't sure what to expect in terms of a live show, I mostly just know Moon Safari and the Virgin Suicides soundtrack. It was okay, they were nice and French, but just a little boring and old.
Prefuse 73: Completely exceeded any expectations I had, playing with a live drummer, bassist, and keyboardist (Ikey Owens from The Mars Volta). Great set, great everything.
The Flaming Lips: Wayne fully descended from space in a giant bubble in which he proceeded to crowd surf in the style of a beach ball (approximately). Only about 4 songs (including the usual "Happy Birthday"), but they squeezed in enough of the usual schtick that it was still great.
The Cure: As much as I love Disintegration, that show blew chunks. Also, Robert Smith is basically the ugliest looking thing I've ever seen. There were shrieks when he first appeared on the screens. Shrieks at how ugly he is!
Le Tigre: Holy shit I love seeing this band. They were in full effect with great energy and a great set. They really know which of their songs play well live, and "FYR" and "Deceptacon" are definitely two of the best ones.

Too bad the cure is lame live. It's probably because their best stuff is when they play Pornography tracks live... and those are like 23 years old...
