Ola!
How are we all people?
Apologies for reverting to my crap non-updating ways, very ignorant of me, and i shall send myself to bed without any tea as punishment!
So.....
Never try to drive through Monmouth to get to Cardiff, they appear to be unable to negotiate roundabouts without crashing every 5 mins and blocking the road for 4 fucking hours!
Never plan a gig perfectly only to leave your bass in the car!
So in brief that was last weeks show!
I've just come back from a fantastic weekend in London, i managed to drag my self to the bus station for 7am, despite my New Rocks taking my feet to pieces, after a rushed cuppa in Victoria i headed out to Acton to record some trip hop basslines for a friends project. I don't know about you, but what i know about trip hop can be written on the back of a plectrum, and i'll say this, it's very difficult to play in a style you're completely unaccustomed to when you're not even sure what key you're supposed to be in!
But we got there in the end, it's not great but it was interesting for me and helped her out.
Then i met up with the gorgeous and charming Vicky to go watch Bullet for my Valentine fucking destroy Brixton Accademy! They were amazing!
The queue was ridiculous so we settled into the JD's before hand, i can't believe we found a pub in Brixton doing double JD's for 2!!! We headed up to the Crobar after where i was introduced to the dubious pleasures of Jaeger-bombs and Bullet Bourbon, needless to say i soon lost count!
and shortly after that my sense of balance!
In a word..... Fabulous!
Bit rushed again, but i'll be back soon!
