Well finally got to enjoy the concerts that I got for my Bday on saturday and sunday, The Alexis on fire concert was the no contest winner by a knockout in the 1st round, EVERY band including alexis on fir kicked serious ass, heck the mosh pit for the band beofre alexis on fire was so excited and frenzied I thought they were Alexis on Fire(note I really ddint listen to the album, except for a wake up on my clock...which I would turn off in about 3 seconds, so I set myself up for this big fopa) and was litterally gathering my back pack from the checkout when I noticed that not many people had left the staged area even though it had been 10 minutes since the band had stopped (I had to change out of my sweat drenched t-shirt, which is why it took so long to leave) so I asked the the coat checker and confirmed my embarrassment.......
Now for Blue october, sure I could blame my lack of enjoyment on having to start my 1st shift of 12 hours on the same day before I saw this concert, I could even blame it on the 2 hours of sleep I got that night because of not being disciplined enough to ask for something other then coke for my one and only meal at 7:00PM and then being a nervous wreck thinking I was going to be late for work(because I have to walk to the city hall ctrain station from basically Mc Mahon stadium to catch the 1st SE train in the morning) so got up at 2:30 in the morning after going to bed at 12:00AM(and wound up an 1 hour and a half beofre the train was ot arrive), yes I could blame all these things except I probably would have stayed if at LEAST blue october would have been half decent, but they were not, all the start up bands sounded like Cure rip offs with Blue October sounding like the forced intercource beetween Phil Collins and the Cult......not to mention the lead singer looked like the offspring of such a wretched union as well.
I spent most of the time sitting down falling in and out of sleep on the stairs of the macewan ballroom, after the 3rd song by BO, I left and enjoyed the 1st sleep of my 4 day wekeend!

Yeah, I'm not doing so well at keeping current. I just haven't been able to get into the new (alright it's almost old by now) format. I

I don't anticipate getting involved with any organizations simply due to the time requirements of my grad student duties (3-4 books a week plus papers and research). Likewise, I will avoid women like the plague - unless I find another red.
