My cat just tried to eat baby Jesus from the nativity scene above the fireplace...
Anyways... Christmas was pretty sweet. Spent Christmas Eve at my one grandma's house. Steak & Kidney pie. Mmmm... Playing games, eating pie and drinking with my family = sweet. Then I went to work drunk, sat on the stoop for a few hours drinking coffee and staring into space. Watched Station X and kicked it all night.
Got home the next morning to find everybody up and about. Opened gifts, did breakfast and drove out to Drumheller to visit my grandma. She made the most amazing dinner. Three pies for dessert! There were only eight people!
Kicked it at Grandma's for a bit before taking off and heading for Banff where St. James' Gate has now decided to close at 11pm on Christmas Day, so we went to this shit pub The Paddock or something like that. The played bad hiphop with the occasional Johnny Cash tune thrown in. The server kept bringing me the wrong beer, but the bill was substantially less than what we drank.
Now I'm here, kicking it at home for the first time in forever waiting for dinner time at my aunties to come around. I love how much food there is this time of year!
