Migraines. Why do I get them? I came home from work yesterday and was so tired I went to bed right away, waking up about 3am this morning. Hopped online for a few hours and about 6am was feeling exhausted again. So I went back to bed. I woke up about an hour ago with this migraine, and the Excedrin isn't doing its job fast enough.
Turned on the A/C to see if that will help. I normally have it set at 82, so it wasn't on as it was 80 in the house. So I took it down to 76 to get it cooler. The humidit may be part of the problem. I can't read, watch tv or do much else that requires me to look at things for more than a few seconds at a time, and closing my eyes just makes the migraine hurt ever so much more.
The last time I was at the store buying Excedrin I noticed that this product has several different packages for the exact same thing. Extra strength, migraine and some other name all have the exact same mix of aspirin, caffeine and (I forget what the other ingredient is and am too lazy to go look at the bottle right now), just in a different colored box and under a different name. So not only is Excedrin in competition with other brands of "medicine" (for lack of the right word), but its also in competition with itself.
Oh great, I can finally close my eyes again, and the headache seems to be subsiding as I type... and I'm starting to yawn? What the 16 hours of sleep in the last 20 hours hasn't been enough? Damn. Something must be wrong with me. More wrong than normal anyway.

All instructors, not only the head ones, can attend a karate test. And one section of the test includes having the testers perform their forms in front of all of the head instructors. Even though I am not currently an active head instructor, I was still invited to sit among the head instructors while evaluating the testers. It was actually a rather nice gesture.
Does that make sense now? Sorry if it was confusing. And I'm sorry if I offended you with that smoking comment. but seriously. Among all of the people I occasionally hang out with, I don't think any of them NOT smoke. It's odd. I used to be a real smoke Nazi. I still don't look favorably upon smoking, but now I think it's incredibly shallow for someone to deny association with another just because that other person smokes. It just don't make sense. anyhoo!!
