Ok, so I'm on vacation for my 21st birthday (officially on Saturday the 17th), I'm a bit drunk off Absinthe (The green fairy is officially my new favorite drink), and I'm alone. My bro (best friend) is playing poker, so, not yet being 21, I'm stuck in the room. Why am I always the one who's a little bit behind? The follower...
Anyway, this post is going to be a bit more random, seeing that I'm, as I said, a bit drunk. Have any of you ever tried absinthe? If not, you should (unless you hate black licorice)....
I suppose I should get into the point of this blog...
I'd love to meet someone who think's that they had a weird religious upbringing, because, aside from the amish folk, they'd have nothing on me. I couldn't watch most movies, couldnt listen to music that wasn't "church music", and could not talk to anyone outside my church. I went to the church school, went to the church youth group, was made to go to their religion's college...
I lived a brainwashed first 14 years. My next few years were spent questioning and doubting. My last couple years, I've done all I can to get far, far away from all that. I am, officially, an agnostic. I think that, to say that there is definitely no creator is a bit presumptuous, considering that we just don't know how it all began. At the sane time, to say that "I know the creator and I have a copy of his book" is a bit...retarded. You can't know that. Which is why I'm sort of in the middle, as an agnostic.
Maybe this is "preaching to the choir", considering that there can't be too many religious folk on here, and, if there were, they might never admit it. Anyway, I'd love to have a convo about religion, via message or phone or whatever. Hit me up if you're in a debating mood . It's been on my mind alot lately. Whether you're atheistic or agnostic or christian or muslim or whatever... I'd love to hear some differing opinions about God. My opinion is that saying that you believe in God is akin to saying that you believe in Bigfoot. Is it's existence possible? sure. Is it likely? not really.
Hit me up...or don't. I'm sick of writing, and want to look at some more boobies . Haven't seen today's set yet. Have a good one, all!
