So, I need to unsubscribe from SG. I know, it sucks, but I need to unsubscribe from Alternative Press, too. I just really need to save money wherever I can.

If you live in the DFW area, and you haven't been to the Kimbell to see the Hatshepsut exhibit, YOU NEED TO GO. It runs until 31 December, and I plan to go back as often as possible. I paid for the audio guide thing, which was great. I recommend using it. There were huge statues, and little block statues, false doors and other blocks...

Glad you finally got to make the exhibit. Sounds really cool, plan to make it over there next month. I missed the big Ramses exibit several years ago, so will def have to check this out. The Marilyn exhibit will be great too.

Yeah, totally missed it. They had all the Dino crap back in there when I went this last weekend.

I wanna be....where the people are....

I saw the most exciting billboard today! The Little Mermaid is going to be released on 2-disc special edition DVD on October 3rd! Hooray!

Okay, so I lied.

I slept through my alarm, and ended up waking much later than intended. So instead of visiting the Hatshepsut exhibit at the Kimbell, I spent pretty much my whole "awake part" of the day with our friend, the quadratic equation. Well, and also watching the fourth season of South Park. I just bought it the other day, and a girl's...

To bad you missed the Kimbell, I love going there though I haven't been for a while.
I love King's Hawaiian bread myself. The only way I can eat Chinese is to go to a buffet that has American food because my wife won't eat anything Asian.
Those are some great fortunes. Good luck with the friendship one. Since the other two aplly to you, there should be a truly extraordinary person looking for you. Hope you find each other soon and you get away from that "lonely and depressed" mood.

Math is delicious!

I finally got around to installing all the junk for my algebra class, only to discover that the first SIX assignments are due on the tenth! Gah! The first week of classes, and the instructor bombards us already! Oh well. I'll manage to get it all done somehow. But stop looking at me like that, because I already did some tonight, and...

I always hated math. In high school I always made C's in algebra, and geometry, but still managed to graduate as an honor student. So i guess that means not all nerds are good with math. In college I did better so maybe it was the teachers in high school or something just didn't click at the time. Now I am a staff accountant and work with numbers all day. Pretty weird job for someone who hates math.

Tonight at one of the nursing homes, two old men were totally about to throw down on each other over a walker. It was so cutes.

Also, the tshirts I ordered from Threadless came in the post today. Hoorays.

Oh! Last night, I stopped at Walmart for some Swim-Ear, and they had The Pagemaster in the $5.50 DVDs bin. So I bought it. Hooray for...

It's widduw wike me. aaww...

So something totally exciting happened today. I got a new car! If you knew the character of the Daewoo at all, you will realize what this means: no more death trap! Hoorays!

I am now the owner of a 2006 Chevy Aveo. The sedan, not the liftback. The only things I would change about it would be this: I have...

Congratulations on the new car. I love that new car smell. Mothers can be a pain in the ass. Mine is not to bad, but my mother in law is just like your mother. Good luck at school.

Tales from the Crypt Nursing Homes

Guess who worked a double shift today!

(Hint: If you guessed "Colleen," you would be correct!)

The day was pretty much equivalent to suck, but it certainly had its moments. Here are some things that made my day slightly more interesting:

I delivered meds to one home for a woman named Carol Brady. haha! That made me smile. I...
