Funny, I'm the opposite, my office PC runs so much smoother than this home Mac.

Lipstick and Cigarettes. I spent entirely too much time on there from 2002-3. Lately, I've been missing it. It's sad I don't see many people from those days anymore, but I often am curious of their views on it now. (I'm looking at you, Rye)

Random Thoughts

Lately I've been rolling my eyes so much, they may as well get stuck behind my head.

When you live alone, it's always a fun game to play how long you could be dead before your body is discovered.

Upon entering your mid-twenties, 80% of dateable females in your age range have boyfriends. 95% for the ones you're really interested in.

No matter...

Many truisms.

As for the girls issue - that's why you need to live somewhere with a lot of girls. So even if 95% of the hot girls are attached, that still leaves thousands who aren't.

You know all told 2004 sucked a serious amount. So why the fuck do I miss it so.

There is nothing like digging through old mixtapes and reading old playlists. You know, thinking about who you made the tapes for and wondering what ever happened to 'em. The art of making a mixtape is such a lost one that needs to come back. Eerily, both my major mixtape series ended at #13.

Mix cds just don't cut it. whatever

boxofficepoison:

For some reason, I simply cannot win at beer pong at my apartment on my own table. This is a serious problem.

I hate familial obligations. whatever

that's a shame...

I'd just rather the beer.... whatever

That is a rather sad state of affairs, I have to agree with you. I miss beer pong, it's been years since I played.

I feel like I'm entering a huge slump. One of those where everything you hit hard is an at'em-ball. Nothing drops between fielders. Calls go the other team's way. Then, when you realize you haven't had a hit in your last twenty or thirty times to the plate, you start to press. When you start to press, the ball gets smaller and smaller until it's...

Random bouts of hopeless frustration suck. I'm betting its a combination of the three hours of sleep I got last night and the lightning speed fight I got into with my mother today which proves that we cannot be in a social setting together for very long before our ever-polarizing senses of humor clash. It's amazing how fundamentally different a mother and child can be...

I heard that... I also hear chokehold is playing also!
But I don't want to spend 100 dollars to go to a fest. I may pay 60 but that was 3 years ago that it was 60 dollars.
I also hear that Kiss it Goodbye is getting back together!!! Best news in a long while.

So I finally gird up to do laundry, and after I finish a load of wash, the damned dryer breaks down. Now my idiot landlord is nowhere to be found and my wet clothes are in danger of getting all mildewed up. I'd hang them in my bathroom to air out, but I have a basement apartment and the bathroom doesn't have a window! I'm...

Think of it this way: having an AWOL idiot landlord is better than still answering to your mother.

As for barbecue, you should bring it up in SGNY and SGNJ - both groups have some pretty serious lovers of the barbecued goodness. As long as you're willing to do a little planning and make some executive decisions, the odds are pretty high that you'll find company.

Someone who doesn't drink soda and is just beginning to enter the foray of drinking coffee should be careful when they're making their first pot. This morning, I made myself a travel mug of way-too-strong coffee and I was fucking strung out all day at work. It was awful. The production manager thought I was hopped up on cocaine.

This past weekend was really lousy...

So that Good Life show was completely awful. I am now reminded not only why I almost never go to shows anymore, but why I can't see/stand Saddle Creek bands anymore. /rant

I'm going to watch movies all day, I think. whatever
